Building Awesome Whanau is a 6 session parenting programme held weekly for two hours. It was created by the Parenting Place NZ. Building Awesome Whanau draws on the wisdom of Matauranga Maori and the Toolbox Parenting Programme to offer whanau and families a kaupapa that is uniquely Aotearoa New Zealand.

Building Awesome Whanau is designed for families and whanau raising children aged 0 to 12. It is packed full of great ideas, positive stories from parents still on the journey with their own tamariki, and practical ideas to help. Building Awesome Whanau is facilitated by a Social Worker who has been specifically trained and authorised by the Parenting Place.
